Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday! It's the one day a week we come together to celebrate getting things done! No matter if this is your first time to join or if you've been here each and every week, everyone is welcome to join in with MckLinky below!
This week we're trying to see what we can do for $5 or less.
If your project went over, that's alright... mine did, too!
I only went over by $2 though! I went to Goodwill and found this table for $6.99. Yeah, I went over just a tad. Well.... nobody's perfect! This sweet little old school desk was totally worth it.

I didn't know I needed a new table, but when I found it, I knew exactly where it would go. Oddly enough, the table that I had in the space was also an old school table, bought at a teacher's yard sale a couple of years ago. I love this table, but it just wasn't quite right.

The chippy paint on the old table rubbed off on the wall, so I put a line of painter's tape on the back edge to protect the wall. I ♥ chippy paint!

Even though I typically only use tan, cream and aqua, this shot of red really adds something to the space. (Can you tell I watch a lot of NCIS? Dinozzo is my favorite!)

Add a few accessories that I already owned, and I got a whole new look for $7. Notice the little spots were books originally went? Perfect for decorating books and magazines.

*My wall color is "Serendipity" by Porter Paints - I always get that question*

So did you stay on budget? If you forgot, it's ok. Just show us whatever you have. Make sure to put your PERMALINK and PLEASE link back here so everyone can find the great ideas!
Wellllll... you know the drill!

I tried to keep it cheap, but those muffin pans are way expensive! Mine ended up being $16, but at least I will be able to reuse the pan. :D

It's kind of funny that you taped edges to keep the chippy-ness :). It looks great, red was a good choice.
