This week, my transformation is short & sweet - and I had everything in my craft stash. I took a piece of art I bought at a yard sale last year, a piece of plain brown paper and one sheet of music from a vintage hymnal (I have more available in my Etsy shop).
I simply sprayed the brown paper with spray adhesive and placed it. Next I sprayed the sheet of music and placed it. See - easy! It took all of about two minutes, including cutting the paper and trimming the music.
So are y'all ready??? Please use your PERMALINK and pretty, pretty please with candy canes on top link back here so everyone can find the party. Remember we'll take next week off ('cause Santa is due at my house next Wednesday night!) We'll be back on December 30th (with a New Year's post if you'd like.) Ok - ready? set? GO!

Hi Angie,
Thanks for stoppping by my blog today. Let me know if you make the cookies and if you like them.
Love your project that you posted. I especially love the beadboard in the background.

I just love that! So simple and beautiful!
LOVE the picture! I did something similar but your matting idea really brings the music sheet out. Lovely!
Thanks for hosting!

OK, it's not a Christmas project per se, but Since we started thinking and talking about it last Christmas, and it took until almost this Christmas to get it done, I figured it may count.
Besides that, an organized pantry makes Christmas cooking and baking much easier.
My post shows step by step, how I made a self rotating can rack for our pantry.
I think maybe next time, I'll stick with the two minute projects! :-)
That turned out beautiful. Very Shabby Chic looking. I love it.
Simply chic! Merry Christmas to you Gina! See you when I get back. Happy New Year!! Hugs, Vanessa
Now how did you think to do this. How simple but sweet. Thanks for sharing it with us

I like this framed music. I keep looking for sheet music when I go to the Goodwill, but just haven't found any yet.
I love it! I have a white frame that's just begging to be re-born into something like this!
I don't have a link to add, but I sure have enjoyed the ones that did. And I love your transformation. Wouldn't this be a great present for a piano or voice teacher at Christmas?!

This is my kind of craft... thanks Gina :)
My idea this week is not even mine... it is my DD's. If you LOVE COFFEE and SHABBY CHIC... go take a peek!
You always have such great ideas! Thank you for hosting.

Love this idea so much! It reminds me of the time I took 2 of my favorite old recipe cards and framed them in a banged up frame from the thrift store. I have some old hymnals lying around. I may have to give this a go.
I added your link to all my posts that I linked! Thank you so much for providing a way to share crafty ideas across the 'net!
I've started one too and if you'd like to share your crafty ideas and projects you can link on my Thursday's Treasures here:
