We've done an incredible amount of building this year, projects big and small. I thought I'd show off my favorite projects we've completed for Funky Junk's Saturday Nite Special this week. Above is the smallest of them all, a little table I built out of scraps from other projects. It fills a little corner in my dining room perfectly.
This is our island that Mr. SCC built for our kitchen. It's been distressed and well used, and I still love it to this day.
Who can forget the amazing screen door...
or the porch swing?
But the biggest of them all is the sideboard. It changes with the seasons, which is a lovely way to keep things fresh.
There are more things on the way, but once and again it's nice to take a look back and see how far you've come. Have you stopped to look lately?

Love them all!! Especially that sideboard - really cool! Can't wait to see what is next on your list...
Have a great weekend
Danielle
Is the island on here somewhere? I need to go look for it. We are planning an island and I am looking for any and all ideas.
What a wonderful little builder you are. I love all of your projects but I think my fav is your lovely kitchen island! You wanna come over to my house? I'll buy the wood! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Love the projects...every single one of them is amazing. It makes you wonder how many projects we finished before blogging because there is certainly an incentive not to procrastinate! All because of blogging and your friends in blog land that go bananas over your building projects! Hahaha....I for one love all of them!
Blessings,
Debbie
Sheri,
I updated the post so that you can find all the original project posts.
Debbie,
We've always been DIY folks, you would be AMAZED at the amount of projects that DH does that I don't even talk about. He builds something at least 4 days a week. It's crazy! He needs his own blog, lol!
Pam,
Thanks, I built it all by myself!
Sheila,
I'll come over anytime, as long as you have a glass of sweet iced tea waiting...
Oh your sideboard is so beautiful! Love it! I would love to have a porch swing like that as well, especially during those summer months that I am missing so much right now. :)
All beautiful pieces, but who could resist that door?
Hi,
I have seen already your blog and I must say that every post is getting more and more amazing. You are very talented person. I can hardly believe that you did it all by yourself.
I wish I have more time to "play" with my home. You do it in great way!
All great projects, full of character...and memories for you! "Remember when we built this?"
Wow, it sure has been a beautiful and productive year for you! That screen door really is amazing. Sure wish my hubby would agree to replace our ugly doors with them. They're gorgeous, and have so much more character than the ones we have. I'll have to work on him!
I am so in awe of the things on your blog. I am so glad I found you. Your projects shown here are fabulous. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. We did some shabby chic projects this summer to furnish my dd's new apartment and it was so much fun. We are going to build a cottage up North in the near future (maybe a year from now) and it will have to be furnished "thriftily". Your blog has given me so much inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
Smiles,
Tricia
They are all wonderful, but that side board makes my heart flutter!!
These are all great pieces! I especially love that fantastic kitchen island. Thanks so much for sharing these great ideas.
Gina, just gorgeous! All of it. Your whites make me crazy. Now... don't you think that screen door is too nice for outdoors?!? LOL!!

I have been looking all over craigslist for something similar to the side board table. Guess I'm gonna have to nag my hubby to make one as well!
I am still lovin that door and I do want to get one at some point!! Love that sideboard!! COOL--wish my hubby liked doing things like that!! Also the little table made out of spindles!
My favorite is the sideboard!
Very inspiring. You are very talented.
Sorry! Mishap!
Supposedly the sideboard is the new "Belgian" look, seen in design mags... Cotedetexas.blogspot shows a house from a movie with a sideboard similar- behind a sofa...you are quite the trendsetter!
Great projects!

God has certainly blessed you with Talent
That Island Table is Fab. I like it because you can move it when you want. yvonne
