The thing about odd little houses that they have unexplained nooks and crannies. Making the most of those nooks and crannies is up to us. I have always used a little nook in the bathroom for holding necessities, but used brackets and shelving board with a curtain to hide it all. Now, after a sheet of plywood and some pine trim, Mr. SCC built me a place to proudly display all those things. Now it's up to me to keep the belongings looking as good as his shelves!
Tomorrow we'll talk about curtains, and hopefully the big reveal will be up on Transformation Thursday. Hope you'll join me!

I love having built in shelves like that especially in a bathroom. Cant' wait to see the curtains!
I was going to say the same thing songbird did... I LOVE that about older homes - special nooks and crannies that you get to decide what to do with! You do a great job!
Haha, my house has tons of nooks and crannies! The former owners really wanted to make every square inch of this house count, and I'm very grateful that they did!
Your so lucky! We have a new house and I've just recently been trying to figure out where to build in some nooks and crannies. Wish me luck!
