Three for thrifting

Lala, DH and I all tumbled out of the house early Saturday morning, which was amazing since we didn't get home until midnight on Friday. Rummaging around on weekend mornings makes us happy -- it's time we all spend together and usually we only spend a few dollars here and there, making for cheap, fun family time.

I only picked up a couple of things this week, including the Home Interior tiered basket above and this small jar. Lala found a couple of books and DH came home empty handed.

However, he did find something at the perfect price. While browsing through a popular neighborhood in our area, we noticed a pile of trash next to the road where someone had moved out. We spied an art deco dresser, obviously old but not beyond redemption. It was complete with mirror and all. We stuffed it into the van and brought it back home before taking off again. Free is my favorite price!
